A vast territory to developPlaine de France is an area of continuous urbanisation, stretching from La Plaine-Saint-Denis at the gates of Paris to Roissy. This territory has all the features of the North-East Paris Ile-de-France region
These strategic challenges have called for special measures. Under the planning contract signed by the state and the Paris Ile-de-France region for the years 2000-2006, it was designated as a priority development area. A public territorial planning and development corporation (EPA) has been set up to form a stable and sustainable partnership between public sector stakeholders (state, region, counties, municipalities and municipal groupings concerned). ![]() The EPA's lines of action:
